In a small village in the West Bank, a former TV repairperson secretly builds a space shuttle to reach the moon.

Without money or technology—but convinced that curiosity is stronger than gravity—Yusuf works passionately in the backyard shed. When Yusuf’s family and friends discover this unimaginable project, things begin to fall apart. Grey Rock is the spirit-lifting tale of someone with a mission.

Fresh from its US premiere at Manhattan’s legendary La MaMa theatre, Amir Nizar Zuabi’s acclaimed play lands in Melbourne to offer an intimate glimpse into the everyday lives of people living under occupation.
